(How to prospect for gold samples)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sampling is key to your ability to find gold faster!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have you heard of the phrase;<em> &#8220;Sampling for gold?&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Gold sampling is a vital skill to have as a gold prospector, you may or may not know what sampling is.<\/p>\n<p>Many people don&#8217;t, and that&#8217;s ok.<\/p>\n<p>Simply put, gold sampling is when you pick a location to dig a hole down to bedrock and measure the concentration of gold found from the debris removed from that hole.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very important to note when gathering the sample, that the sample be measured accurately to give you an idea of the concentration of gold in the area. It&#8217;s not enough just know that there is gold, you want to know how much gold too.<\/p>\n<p>You want to start in areas where bedrock is not very deep. Not only is it easier, it is also safer. When a sample hole gets too deep, it can cave in on you.
